Marina da Glória is situated at Guanabara Bay, between downtown, Flamengo and Glória neighborhoods. Its harbour has a high-level infrastructure with two pavillions. Together, both pavilions reach 4000m² and capacity for 4500 people. The Marina is in an area of 381 km² and offers one of the most beautiful views of Corcovado and Sugar Loaf.

Built in 1979, Marina da Glória host the sailing competitions of the Pan American Games of 2007 and tournament of the same class at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, 2016;
